Fees

What you pay depends on the care you need, so we would rather talk it through with you properly than put a single figure on a page.

What it costs

How the fee is set

Fees are reviewed each year against the Laing & Buisson care fee calculator, and looked at again during the year only if costs move. Please feel free to ring us and we will tell you what the fees are.

We take placements funded by Cyngor Gwynedd as well as privately funded ones. Funding is agreed and confirmed in writing before anyone moves in, so that nobody finds out about a shortfall after the event.

Paying for care

Council funded and privately funded

If savings and assets fall below the Welsh capital limit, the local authority carries out a financial assessment and may fund all or part of the placement. That threshold is set by Welsh Government and changes, so check the current figure with Cyngor Gwynedd or on the Welsh Government website rather than taking a number from us.

Everyone in a care home in Wales is entitled to keep a minimum personal allowance each week for their own spending. Nobody is left with nothing.

More coming soon

A full breakdown is being prepared: exactly what the weekly fee covers, what is charged separately, how third-party top-ups work, notice periods, and what happens to fees during a hospital stay. If you need to know now, ring 01286 870391 and ask. We would rather answer the question properly than leave half an answer on a website.

Come and see

The only way to know is to walk in

Any member of staff can show you round. You are welcome to turn up without an appointment. You will see the place as it actually is, which is the point.
